Allied Aviation History at PTY:
In 1994, Allied Aviation (known as Ogden Aviation Services Panama Corp.) was awarded the contract to operate the fuel system and provide into-plane fueling services for all of the airlines that service Panama City’s international Airport (Tocumen). This exclusive right was awarded by the Panamanian government.
From there on Ogden Aviation in Panama has gained the trust of all the companies and customers we serve, and the respect of large enterprises and aviation entities also dedicated to the fuel business and regulations. Working together with our customers, we have maintained our high levels of providing premier quality services as we have been able to supplement or fleet of fueling vehicles with new equipment and upgrades to the airport fueling system.
Our operation in Tocumen Intl. has had a tremendous growth in the last years. In 1994, there were only two jet fuel storage tanks providing fuel to the airport. Since then, we have doubled the capacity at the airport to coincide with a doubling of passenger traffic at the airport as well. Since year 1998 we have also purchased 12 new vehicles including hydrant servicers, hydrant towable units, and refueler tank trucks.
